...for beginning, intermediate, and advanced singers!

My goal as a voice teacher is to help students unlock their vocal potential – to be the best singer they can be. I want to increase students’ appreciation for music by exposing them to new repertoire and provide students with performance opportunities. I hope students feel freedom to express themselves through the music they sing while relying on a solid foundation of vocal technique, basic music theory, and music reading skills that will last a lifetime.

As a private voice teacher I strive to provide the highest level of vocal instruction for male and female students ages twelve and up. My students consist of middle school, high school, and college students, and adults all of whom take a serious interest in singing. I aim to develop musicianship by structuring middle and high school student lessons with basic music theory training, and classical and musical theater repertoire study. I expect students to work toward public performance opportunities, which build self-confidence and create a sense of achievement. Those wishing to major in music in college and non-music majors are both welcome in my studio. I structure college student and adult lessons to fit individual needs. I require all students come to lessons prepared with an expectation of making beautiful music.
